Wood Source Fuels was originally formed to move hardwood pulp logs to the firewood industry by rail.

It has evolved into a logistics and consulting company.

WSF deals primarily with forest biomass products in all forms. Innovative ideas are researched and tested to optimize load and transport efficiencies in order to utilize our domestic rail systems.

WSF's goal is to create healthy forests and watersheds and to utilize the lowest carbon footprints to achieve them.

Wood Source Fuels (WSF) has deep knowledge about the movement of primary wood products and other commodities by rail.

WSF has extensive experience in rail operations and the timber industry through business operations in the southwest and southern regions of the United States; with a larger concept of utilization of existing class 1 and short line rail networks to move large quantities of biomass both efficiently and cost effectively.
